White pulav

White pulav
Ingrediants :
1 cup rice (preferably zeeraga samba)
1tsp cumin seed
1 cardamom
2-3 cloves
1 small stick cinamon
1 star anish (annachi poo)
Salt to taste
3-4 tbs ghee(you can use 2+2 oil and ghee)
Coconut milk (prepared out of 1cup of grated coconut.)
Wash and keep the rice wet for 1/2 an hour.
Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan or cooker.
Add cumin seeds, cardamom, cinamon stick, cloves, and star anish.
Add the rice and fry a little.
Now pour the coconut milk(milk+water should be 2 cups)
Add salt to taste.
cook well till the rice is soft but separate. Serve with pappad.
This will be good either with mint pulav or with tomato pulav or both.
If it is prepared separate then it will taste good with chana masala or paneer butter masala.
